Fly to Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur then to Melbourne/ Sydney. Having a bit longer to sleep makes a huge difference. Changi has a great airport though for quick boarding. But maybe avoid Qantas

We have no choice in Darwin, you either pay the money for Singapore Airlines or fly backwards minimum 4hrs to the east coast to catch a flight from there. Ironically fly back over Darwin again. Jetstar used to run a service to Singapore but I wouldn’t recommend them to tie my shoes. My recommendations are. Dress light as the aircon is never cool enough. Wear flip flops as it will be even hotter at Darwin. Declare all your stuff, unlike some airports the Darwin customs people are very nice and polite.

Bring your own food. The food choices onboard, even though one has to pay for everything, including a bottle of water, are very poorly prepared.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Cabin Temperature on Flight SQ447 (DAC–SIN)** Dear Singapore Airlines Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience on flight SQ447 from Dhaka (DAC) to Singapore (SIN). After boarding, it became apparent that the cabin air conditioning was not functioning adequately. When we initially raised the concern, a flight attendant informed us that it would take approximately 10 minutes for the temperature to cool down once the aircraft began operating. We trusted this explanation; however, the cabin remained uncomfortably warm, and many passengers—including my family—were sweating for an extended period. After approximately 45 minutes, I raised the issue again. While the attendant mentioned that adjustments had been made, the response did not reflect the seriousness of the ongoing discomfort. It was only after about an hour into the flight that the temperature finally improved and the cabin became more comfortable. I also spoke with several other passengers seated nearby, and they confirmed they were experiencing the same issue. As a frequent traveler who has always associated Singapore Airlines with high standards of service, this experience was very disappointing. It has made me reconsider choosing this route with your airline in the future. I hope you will review this incident and take the necessary steps to ensure that such situations are handled more promptly and professionally going forward. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Mohammed Shahriar

Fast and efficient flight. Wifi worked well. Food selection could have been better

I loved the full Taylor Swift selection but felt that the other selections were limited, didn’t span the popular music eras nor a wide enough range of music genres. BUT the seat and bed were GREAT (it was wide, long enough, had great storage, firm enough to uphold body postural comfort). Outstanding crew and really great food - gourmet innovative dim sum breakfast so different from the boring standard fare offered by many other business class products.

Overall the airline tried to give excellent service. The wheelchair service was bad at SFO. My baggage was also delayed but I thank them for taking the trouble to find it and deliver it to my home.

No frills airline with minimal leg room and no entertainment

I wish there was a little more leg room between the seats. The recline was good and seats overall were comfortable. I also didn’t like the 2-4-2 configuration.

Pleasant business class flight experience with good onboarding experience. Flight service team was excellent with usual book-the-chef menu available

The consistency with Singapore Airlines is fantastic. Crew are always brilliant and food delicious in business class

Service was top notch and the attention to passengers is great. Takeoff and landing was on schedule. Food selection is good

The business class seats were very uncomfortable. When in lie flat position my legs were very restricted.
