Fly to Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur then to Melbourne/ Sydney. Having a bit longer to sleep makes a huge difference. Changi has a great airport though for quick boarding. But maybe avoid Qantas

I would recommend eating before you board your flight so you can rest when you are on board the plane.

We have no choice in Darwin, you either pay the money for Singapore Airlines or fly backwards minimum 4hrs to the east coast to catch a flight from there. Ironically fly back over Darwin again. Jetstar used to run a service to Singapore but I wouldn’t recommend them to tie my shoes. My recommendations are. Dress light as the aircon is never cool enough. Wear flip flops as it will be even hotter at Darwin. Declare all your stuff, unlike some airports the Darwin customs people are very nice and polite.

Bring your own food. The food choices onboard, even though one has to pay for everything, including a bottle of water, are very poorly prepared.

Food was terrible , uncomfortable seats, WiFi did not work, will never fly Singapore again.

Never book through Kayak. They can offload booking to third parties that are completely horrible.

I had ordered vegetarian food. What I was presented was extremely dissatisfying and not up to the mark. I pretty much did not eat entire 19 hours. For.an airline voted as best in business, it was extremely disappointing. Seats were not comfortable to sleep. Entertainment system didn’t have much choice. WiFi didn’t work for more than half the time. Cabin crew were also difficult to understand. A bit of diversity like Emirates crew would go a long way.

First time flying with Singapore airlines and I’ll give them two thumbs up 👍 👍

The flight arrived on time. 2×2 seating meant no one needed to sit in the middle. This was a connectibf flight from Singapore and required going to 3 counters in different levels to check a golf bag

The consistency with Singapore Airlines is fantastic. Crew are always brilliant and food delicious in business class

Wish the seat don’t have restrictions, can’t fully insert backpack all the way inside.

Best service airline. The cabin crew is attentive and friendly. Inflight entertainment system is good

The business class seats were very uncomfortable. When in lie flat position my legs were very restricted.

Lounge a access was excellent as was the attentiveness and service from the crew as always. The food and drink supplied were of good quality. The entertainment system had a good selection and I liked the mapping system supplied. However the screen wild have been bigger and the operation a little smoother to navigate. The seats were barely comfortable, but adequate.
