Get to the airport early due to traffic congestion. The traffic is very heavy once you get to Mandaue
NancyFlew with Cathay Pacific-Dec 2025
Please make sure the carry on weight is at 7kg, otherwise they make you to ship it and charge as a second piece.
PavanFlew with Cathay Pacific-Apr 2025
Check the flight status before you leave home. My flight was delayed by 2+ hrs, I waited at the airport for a while and almost missed my connection from HKG.
DouglasFlew with Bangkok Airways-May 2025
Prepare to board the plane from the tarmac and carry your carryon bags up the stairs to the plane.
Verified travelerFlew with Emirates-Dec 2024
It has been an overall good experience. The advise is to get to the gate earlier because of a packed airbus. Have a lighter carry on luggage for easy overhead storage.
Verified travelerFlew with Cathay Pacific-Feb 2025
Get to naia early Cathy pacific is in terminal 3 which is the domestic terminal
Verified travelerFlew with Cathay Pacific-Sep 2024
Arrive early - walk and find where your gates are. IF You didnt get a chance to shop for Philippine goodies, the terminal has tons of local goodies to shop for! Also if your flight is delayed - there is a small massage area and their services are amazing!
Verified travelerFlew with Cathay Pacific-Nov 2024
Cathay's Bangkok in-person check-in was easy. Hong Kong was a good connecting-flight airport (though you need to dump all liquids between connecting flights as you need to go through a security checkpoint).

If you fly Cathay, get onto their club thing before you fly. then, maybe less problem with verification code.

It was fine. Nothing special but nothing went wrong so all good.

toilets could be cleaned more frequently, everything else was pretty good.

Flight from SFO did not include entertainment as it was not working the entire duration of the flight. Was informed that there would be a $350 voucher for the inconvenience. Uncertain how the voucher will be provided.

Great airline. Excellent service, good food & lots of TV movies/shows to choose from.

On time boarding I would like to see ground hostess to help transit customers to direct them to the right terminal and boarding gate. Last night, all the transit customers on SQ484 arriving Singapore had to merry go round to look for terminal and boarding gate to board SQ128 transit to KL Malaysia. We went to Terminal 3 taking the Skytrain to T3 and back to T3 to get out to look for different Skytrain to T2. On arrival t2, we had to go round to ask which boarding gate to KL. We only had 5 minutes to make to the boarding time at 6:55pm but we already spent more than 30 minutes running around to find the boarding gate. We were late at the boarding gate.

Crews were great but food not much selection just all tailored for Asian passengers.

Perfect experience from boarding through to leaving the flight, comfortable and personalised service from all staff, highly recommended

The crew was so kind! I had such a nice flight !

Please have the artiste showcase of classic international movies. Please have better food. There was no dessert or yogurt in my Ind Veg meal.

Seamless fussy free flight. Great service as expected of SIA.

There was no screens on the flight, and no wifi with which we could connect to the internet and stream any content. This was a smaller plan so the business class seats were a bit tight. No hot towels or welcome drinks like when you fly on the bigger TG on the same route. The food was excellent, much better than the previous Thai airways business class meals. It was also nice that they offered eye masks for easy sleeping.

Good experience although the boarding gate is at the terminal extension hence need to leave lounge to head over earlier.

Need to improve on punctuality. My flight was delayed by 1 hour.

The flight was mostly fine, but I really wished that seats had an outlet to charge devices considering the length of the flight (15 hours there and 14 hours back).

The setting configuration of the aircraft stinks. Nobody should pay business class fares and be so uncomfortable. The design of facing fellow passengers is a brilliant nincompoop.

Delayed flight in Singapore caused the transfer at Bangkok to be very stressful. Fortunately, no elderly were in this trip, else it will not be possible to catch the connecting flight. There were also several occasions throughout the flight journey where some of the passengers were not wearing their seat belts despite several remainders from the stewardess.

USB charging port was not working at my seat 48K.

Increase the number of available films, including variety. All other aspects were great.

After going back and forth with the airline, they never reimbursed the airline tickets. Went around asking multiple people how to get reimbursed and kept getting put back, not satisfied with their customer service.

Efficient like all the other flights with them. An outstanding budget airline!

Captain smooth landing, Crew efficient and helpful. We saw Mt Fuji from the plane. Thanks.

On time and smooth flight from San Juan direct to Sint Maarten.

Just to be expected on a budget airline. Since all the flights were either late on the evening it would help to offer some food for purchase Since you tourists cannot buy decent food withoit local vaccination record in hong Kong this would really to help Using phone to submit electronic data is great but for the elderly this is a hassle

Flight cancelled without notidication, had to book an emergency replacement flight at the counter
